Whew!
Two days' running in the snow!
Fab!
Yesterday Roger and I did from Helmsley along the Cleveland Way for 4.5 miles (nearly to Cold Kirby) and then back to Helmsley.
Today we went from Sutton Bank to where we finished yesterday - total of 16 miles in the two days. Not a huge distance but quite hard in the snow and ice. Beautiful today in the sun and we saw Martin and Andy also running the route. Great minds and all that!
Now I am busy planning the diary for January and March - I need to step up the distance and intensity (but not tomorrow - I am still in lazy mode)

December 24th 09
The presents are wrapped, the mince pies are in the oven courtesy of Sarah, and the TV is boring, so I thought I would catch up with this.
The last couple of months have been good ones - lots of great races and reasonable times.
My legs stopped aching when I starteed running every day in Buenos Aires. Since there I have felt quite pain free until a few days agod when my knee started to hurt in a very ominous way.
However, I have entered lots of things for next year and the knee will just have to hold up!
There are a few good runs coming up including Marrakech marathon at the end of next month, at which Roger is accompanying me and I hope this will be the start of his London training.
Yesterday I registered for UTMB which is next August so that will be the focus from now on.
The snow and ice have been bad for a week so I hadn't run until today when I did a little run to deliver some Christmas cards. Tomorrow I will run with the Harriers and then try to keep on going.
More soon......
